June 2017 Partner Letter
While planning and building our website, we thought of you, our friends and partners. Of course, we wanted our site to be informational and include all the latest photos and news about us and what we are up to, but more than that; we wanted our website to include resources that would help to strengthen your Christian life.
Today we wanted to give you a little tour around our website and hope that we can whet your appetite to visit the site and see for yourself.
The home page includes selected Quotes of the Week and also weekly pieces we will both write. Katherine’s column is called Foot Notes and will include her thoughts and experiences from her personal journey. Bob’s column is called Keep Your Eye on Bob and will touch upon a wide variety of topics we’re sure you will find interesting.
Within our Blog, you will find an extensive list of books and other resources, some of which you may have never heard of. You will want to check out this resource available to you. Many of these books and other resources are genuine treasures that have been a tremendous aid to us in our Christian journey.
There is also a place where you can very conveniently send us your prayer requests. This area of our website has also been designed to help you pray even more effectively for your specific needs. The Bible clearly says that when you pray according to His will, He hears you. (I John 5:14) That’s good news! Many Christians pray, but often they are not praying correctly and according to the Book of James 5:16b, “The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].” Amplified Bible
Since we understand how very important it is for you to stand firmly upon the Word of God to receive answers to your prayers, we have included in this area of our website a list of scriptures by topic which have been paraphrased. These scriptures are by no means an exhaustive list, but it’s a beginning and we will be adding more scriptural prayers on a regular basis.
The website also includes the added convenience of being able to give your offerings online. So many of you have asked us to provide this ease of giving to Katherine Dickerson Ministries and finally, it’s available!
In the very near future, we will also be adding a new area to the website called Our World. Through this part of the website you will have an up-to-date, birds-eye view of what’s happening in the various avenues of ministry we are involved in. Our World will include lots of photographs of the people we minister with and those whose lives we touch. We will include information about exciting events occurring at Moscow Good News Church and keep you abreast of our traveling ministry. Be sure you log in regularly so you won’t miss anything new on the website.
